Rations Café offers an eclectic variety of meal options from 9 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. daily. Customers can select from our a la carte menu from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or from a good variety of delicious ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat food displayed at the counter. Spring, summer, autumn or winter you will be relaxed in air-conditioned comfort whilst enjoying the breath-taking view of Mt. Ruapehu.
At Rations Café we are passionate about good food, good coffee and service less ordinary.
Our appreciation of fast service to travellers as well as locals on tight schedules is what makes Rations Café the preferred stop on the Central Plateau. Due to the high proportion of regular patronage we change our menus frequently as well as provide daily specials whilst still retaining the most popular dishes.
